Sports betting service provider Kambi Group plc signed a mobile sports betting agreement with Mohegan Games and Fun in Ontario, Canadathe two parties announced on Tuesday. Kambi will support MGEs playfallsview online mobile sports betting brandfollowing the opening of the regulated market in April.
“The Canadian market, and Ontario in particular, is full of potential for Kambi and our partners. I am therefore delighted to have entered into this partnership with Mohegan and its online mobile brand Fallsview,” said Kristian Nylén, CEO and co-founder of Kambi.
Multi-year agreement will enable MGE to leverage Kambi’s mobile sports betting technology and offering, which the company describes as including “an unprecedented ice hockey product” and expanded Bet Builder capability. The product will supply the operator Fallsview Casino sports betting brand.

Fallsview Casino is Canada’s largest gaming resort, and a press release describes it as “one of the most recognizable gaming brands in the country.” In addition to providing the casino with a new source of revenue, the long-term agreement further strengthens Kambi’s presence in North America, where it currently has a presence in 17 US states and Ontario.

“Once launched, it will be MGE’s first online mobile gaming product outside of the United States. and we look forward to partnering with Kambi Group in this new venture,” added Roberts. MGE, which also owns professional basketball team Connecticut Sun, already offers its customers iGaming and mobile sports betting offerings in select jurisdictions through the Mohegan Digital brand.
Ontario launched iGaming and online sports betting on April 4, attracting interest from some of the biggest gambling operators in the industry. The jurisdiction is the largest in the country and the first to take bets in a legal private online market.
Kambi launched with partners on day one of market opening. The company said in a first-quarter financial report that it believes the jurisdiction promises to be “one of the largest sports betting markets in North America” and looks forward to signing additional Canadian partners.
